Dearest Haideen,
My deepest condolences on your loss. Tom was a truly amazing man; warm, loving, fun, he effortlessly created and inspired and lived and breathed with humor and integrity. I am honored to say that I knew him, I am so happy to have shared conversations and laughter with him. I know that he loved you very much. Your happiness together was joyous. I wish so much that I could ease your pain, but I know that it will take time and many deep breaths, and many tears. Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you. Please know that this incredible person, this shooting star of energy, lived his life to the fullest with no regrets. He will be sorely missed, and the world is a better place for all of the things that he did while here. I know that his memory will live on in all of those that knew him, and all of the art that he has inspired, and that has yet to be.
